This strong, fine-mesh hay net is designed to help horses and ponies eat more slowly, supporting better digestion and reducing stress. Made from durable, knot-free polypropylene, it’s built to last and helps minimise hay waste. The fine mesh encourages a continuous supply of hay, helping to prevent issues like colic and stomach ulcers while also keeping boredom at bay.
It comes with a free 7 metre suspension rope, making it easy to hang in the stable, box, or lorry. It’s especially useful during transport or when horses are waiting, helping to keep them calm and relaxed. By encouraging horses to eat small amounts throughout the day, it mimics how they would naturally graze, which is better for their digestion and overall well- being.
It measures 100 x 90 cm, with a mesh size of 4.5 cm and a material thickness of 0.5 cm. It holds around 10 kg of hay and has a tensile strength of over 1000 kg. Certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, this hay net meets high standards for safety and environmental responsibility.
