This short shank horse bit is the second in the training series, designed to provide a slight lift and minimal stop with little gag to prevent pinching, while still encouraging a soft, supple feel. I highly recommend this bit to transition out of the SH O-Ring horse bit to build your horse’s confidence. It’s also great for finished light mouthed horses. The SH 01 Short Shank Bit comes standard with a 6″ shank and is available in a variety of mouthpieces to best fit your horse’s needs.
