Hit the trail with Meg, Jill, and Annie in Pony Scouts: The Trail Ride. The girls know how to ride their ponies, but when they head out on the trail by themselves, they face a new challenge—can they find their way home?
Part of the Pony Scouts series by lifelong horse lover Catherine Hapka, this story is filled with pony-centered details for young readers. A “Pony Pointers” vocabulary page at the end of the book introduces additional pony-related terms.
Pony Scouts: The Trail Ride is a Level Two I Can Read book intended for children who are beginning to read independently but may still need some help. With familiar characters, ponies, and a trail-riding adventure, it’s an engaging choice for young horse lovers ages 4–8.
