It’s time for a sleepover at Jill’s house in Pony Scouts: Runaway Ponies! Meg, Jill, and Annie get the chance to care for the ponies day and night, but the fun takes an unexpected turn when someone forgets to latch a stall. With a pony on the loose, the Pony Scouts have a problem to solve.
Written by lifelong horse lover Catherine Hapka, this installment in the Pony Scouts series combines friendship and adventure with the horse-centered details young readers enjoy. The book also includes a “Pony Pointers” vocabulary page with additional pony-related terms.
Pony Scouts: Runaway Ponies! is a Level Two I Can Read book designed for children who can read independently but may still need some help. Longer sentences and an engaging pony-centered story make it an approachable choice for young horse lovers ages 4–8.
