Annie can hardly wait for Surprise, Jill’s one-month-old foal, to grow big enough to ride in Pony Scouts: Back in the Saddle. But during a riding lesson, Annie falls off Splash and finds herself facing a different challenge—deciding whether she’s ready to get back in the saddle.
Written by lifelong horse lover Catherine Hapka, this installment in the Pony Scouts series follows Annie through a relatable riding experience while keeping ponies at the center of the story. The book also includes a “Pony Pointers” vocabulary page featuring additional pony-related terms.
